Frequently asked questions
The questions procurement teams, engineering managers and consultants ask us most often — answered plainly.
Who employs the professional we engage?
We do. The professional is an employee of Zevion Technologies, on our payroll, with a written employment contract, statutory coverage and all employer obligations carried by us. They work inside your team and under your day-to-day direction, but the employment relationship — and its liabilities — remain ours.
How is this different from project outsourcing?
In project outsourcing you buy an outcome and the supplier owns scope, architecture and delivery risk. In resource outsourcing you buy capability and retain all three. We do not take ownership of your scope or your delivery outcomes. If that is what you need, we are not the right partner and will say so at the first conversation.
How quickly can you provide candidates?
For mainstream skills we work to an initial assessed shortlist within a small number of working days. For genuinely scarce capability we will give you a realistic search timeline instead of an optimistic one. We would rather set an expectation we can meet than one that sounds better in the first meeting.
What happens if a professional leaves mid-assignment?
We provide replacement cover under the terms agreed in your contract, and we begin sourcing immediately rather than after a notice period expires. We also want to understand why it happened — a mid-assignment exit is usually a signal about fit, communication or expectations that is worth acting on.
Is there a minimum engagement period?
Minimum durations are agreed per engagement and stated in the contract before you commit. Short, well-defined engagements are entirely workable; we will tell you if a duration makes a role difficult to fill at the quality you need.
Can we convert a contractor to our own permanent employee?
Yes. That is our contract-to-hire model. Conversion terms are agreed in writing before the assignment starts, so there is no renegotiation at the point you decide to hire.
Do professionals work on-site, remotely or hybrid?
All three. The working model is part of the requirement we capture up front, because it materially affects who is available and interested. We will be straightforward about the impact a model has on the candidate pool.
How can we validate your compliance before empanelment?
We provide registration details, statutory filing evidence and sample contract documentation directly to procurement and vendor assessment teams on request. See our compliance page for the obligations we carry.
How is the rate structured, and what does it include?
Most engagements are a rate per professional per month or per day, invoiced against approved timesheets. The rate includes salary, statutory employer contributions and our administration. What is included is stated before you interview anyone, and nothing is added afterwards.
What are your payment terms?
Payment terms are agreed in the engagement contract. Importantly, consultant salaries are paid on a fixed date each month regardless of when your invoice settles — our people are never made to wait on your payment cycle.
Do we need to empanel you before talking?
No. We are happy to discuss a requirement, assess feasibility and share an indicative rate card before any formal empanelment process begins.
Which locations do you cover?
We source and employ technology professionals in India, and support international clients engaging Indian delivery capacity. If a requirement sits outside our coverage, we will tell you rather than take the brief and go quiet.
Still have a question?
Ask it directly. We will answer plainly, including when the answer is no.
