Contract Staffing
How do I get a named specialist in without a ninety-day hiring cycle?
Zevion supplies skilled IT professionals to enterprises on a contract basis. The professional works within your team, on your programme, to your priorities and under your day-to-day direction. Legally and administratively, however, that professional is employed by us. You direct the work. We carry the employment. You receive one invoice.
01 Engagement models
Each answers a different question. Follow the one that matches your situation.
How do I get a named specialist in without a ninety-day hiring cycle?
How do I evaluate someone properly before committing permanent headcount?
How do I get a coordinated squad without handing over control?
I already have the people — how do I drop the employment burden?
Two further capabilities sit alongside these: niche and specialist skill sourcing for roles conventional channels cannot fill, and training and capability development for client teams and for our own consultants.
02 Two models
There are two ways to bring outside capability into a technology programme. They are often described with the same word, and the difference between them decides who is accountable when something goes wrong. We operate exclusively in the second.
| Project outsourcing | Resource outsourcing our model | |
|---|---|---|
| What is bought | A defined outcome or deliverable | Skilled professionals and their time |
| Who directs the work | The supplier | You |
| Who owns scope and architecture | The supplier | You |
| Who carries delivery risk | The supplier | You |
| Who employs the people | The supplier | Us |
| How it is priced | Fixed price or milestone | Rate per professional, per unit of time |
03 What we carry
When a professional is deployed through Zevion, the following are ours to administer — not yours.
04 Commercials
| Model | How it is structured | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Time and materials | An agreed rate per professional, per month or per day, invoiced against approved timesheets | Most contract staffing engagements |
| Contract-to-hire | Contract rate during the evaluation period, with conversion terms agreed in advance and set out in writing | Roles expected to become permanent |
| Managed capacity pod | A blended rate for a defined team composition, mobilised and invoiced as a unit | Discrete workstreams and support functions |
| Employer of record | A transparent administration fee applied to an agreed salary cost | People you have already identified |
Rates are quoted against the specific requirement and shared before you interview anyone. There are no placement surcharges layered on afterwards, and no ambiguity about what a rate includes.
05 Boundaries
Being explicit about this prevents mismatched enquiries and saves everyone time.
We do not take ownership of your scope, your architecture or your delivery outcomes. Those stay with you. If you need a supplier to own an outcome end to end, we are not the right partner for that requirement and will say so.
Nothing reaches you that we have not assessed ourselves. We would rather send three profiles we can stand behind than thirty that make us look busy.
Every professional is employed under a written contract with full statutory coverage. There are no cash arrangements, no unregistered engagements and no compliance shortcuts.
Send us a role description — skills, seniority, duration, location and working model. We will come back with a shortlist and an indicative rate card.
